Release Information <strong>Command</strong> introduced in <strong>Junos</strong> <strong>OS</strong> Release 8.4.<br />

Description Display integrated routing and bridging interfaces information.<br />

Options brief | detail | extensive | terse—(Optional) Display the specified level of output.<br />

descriptions—(Optional) Display interface description strings.<br />

media—(Optional) Display media-specific information about network interfaces.<br />

snmp-index snmp-index—(Optional) Display information for the interface with the specified<br />

SNMP index.<br />

statistics—(Optional) Display static interface statistics.<br />

Additional Information Integrated routing and bridging (IRB) provides simultaneous support for Layer 2 bridging<br />

and Layer 3 IP routing on the same interface. IRB enables you to route local packets to<br />

another routed interface or to another bridging domain that has a Layer 3 protocol<br />
