Field Description<br />

Unique number for use by <strong>Juniper</strong> <strong>Networks</strong> technical support only.<br />

Type of interface.<br />

Encapsulation used on the physical interface.<br />

Maximum transmission unit (MTU)—Size of the largest packet to be transmitted.<br />

<strong>Reference</strong> clock source of the interface.<br />

Network speed on the interface.<br />

Name and interface index of the interface to which a particular child interface<br />

belongs. None indicates that this is the top level.<br />

Information about the physical device. Possible values are described in the<br />

“Device Flags” section under “Common Output Fields Description” on page 125.<br />

Information about the interface. Possible values are described in the “Interface<br />

Flags” section under “Common Output Fields Description” on page 125.<br />

Data transmission type.<br />

Information about the link. Possible values are described in the “Link Flags”<br />

section under “Common Output Fields Description” on page 125.<br />

Information about the physical interface.<br />

Current interface hold-time up and hold-time down. Value is in milliseconds.<br />

Configured media access control (MAC) address.<br />

MAC address of the hardware.<br />

Backup address of the link.<br />

Number of class-of-service (CoS) queues configured.<br />

Date, time, and length of time since the interface changed its status from down<br />

to up.<br />

Input rate in bits per second (bps) and packets per second (pps).<br />

Output rate in bps and pps.<br />

Time when the interface statistics were last set to zero.<br />
