por lo que estos dos procesos muestran elementos comunes<br />

de regulación génica 16 . Dentro del amplio y heterogéneo<br />

abanico de metabolitos secundarios producidos por el género<br />

son muchos los que tienen aplicaciones industriales,<br />

destacando los antibióticos por sus extensas aplicaciones<br />

clínicas contra bacterias y hongos patógenos. La naturaleza<br />

química de los compuestos producidos y su aplicación en<br />

diversos campos de la medicina ha sido ampliamente<br />

discutida 17 .<br />
