En el marco de las celebraciones de su 140° aniversario, el Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, con el auspicio de LarrainVial y el patrocinio de la Corporación Patrimonio Cultural de Chile, se impulsó la edición del libro Emilio Jéquier: la construcción de un patrimonio, que rescata por primera vez la obra, la figura y el pensamiento del autor del edificio en el cual se emplaza este Museo, el Palacio de Bellas Artes, inaugurado en 1880.
