Le corps <strong>de</strong> la convention comprend 34 articles qui renferment les grands principes <strong>et</strong> les principalesdispositions qui sont essentiels à la mise en application uniforme <strong>de</strong> l'instrument: champd'application, gestion, adhésion <strong>et</strong> procédure d'amen<strong>de</strong>ment. Les principales dispositions prévoientque chacune <strong><strong>de</strong>s</strong> parties contractantes peut exiger la présentation d'un document <strong>et</strong> la constitutiond'une garantie, aux fins <strong>de</strong> l'admission temporaire. Le montant <strong>de</strong> la garantie ne doit pas excé<strong>de</strong>r lemontant <strong><strong>de</strong>s</strong> droits <strong>et</strong> taxes à l'importation dont la perception est suspendue. De manière générale,<strong><strong>de</strong>s</strong> délais <strong>de</strong> réexportation minimaux <strong>de</strong> six ou douze mois sont fixés dans les annexes.La convention compte 13 annexes, dont l'annexe A relative aux titres d'admission temporaire(carn<strong>et</strong>s ATA, carn<strong>et</strong>s CPD) <strong>et</strong> au moins une autre annexe qui ont été acceptées par chacune <strong><strong>de</strong>s</strong>parties contractantes:• Annexe A, relative aux titres d'admission temporaire (carn<strong>et</strong>s ATA, carn<strong>et</strong>s CPD) ;• Annexe B.1, relative aux marchandises <strong><strong>de</strong>s</strong>tinées à être présentées ou utilisées à uneexposition, une foire, un congrès ou une manifestation similaire ;• Annexe B.2, relative au matériel professionnel ;• Annexe B.3, relative aux conteneurs, pal<strong>et</strong>tes, emballages, échantillons <strong>et</strong> autres marchandisesimportées dans le cadre d'une opération commerciale ;• Annexe B.4, relative aux marchandises importées dans le cadre d'une opération <strong>de</strong>production ;• Annexe B.5, relative aux marchandises importées dans un but éducatif, scientifique ouculturel ;• Annexe B.6, relative aux eff<strong>et</strong>s personnels <strong><strong>de</strong>s</strong> voyageurs <strong>et</strong> aux marchandises importées dansun but sportif ;• Annexe B.7, relative au matériel <strong>de</strong> propagan<strong>de</strong> touristique ;• Annexe B.8, relative aux marchandises importées en trafic frontalier ;• Annexe B.9, relative aux marchandises importées dans un but humanitaire ;• Annexe C, relative aux moyens <strong>de</strong> <strong>transport</strong> ;• Annexe D, relative aux animaux ;• Annexe E, relative aux marchandises importées en suspension partielle <strong><strong>de</strong>s</strong> droits <strong>et</strong> taxes àl'importation.Jusqu'ici, seules les annexes A, B.1, B.2, B.5 <strong>et</strong> B.6 sont entrées en vigueur. Les autres annexes necomptent pas encore le nombre minimal <strong>de</strong> cinq signataires.
