If an SR inspection or test would result in temporarily<br />

entering an LCO CONDITION, the applicable REQUIRED<br />

ACTIONS may not have to be entered. This is an exception<br />

to LCO 3.0.2.<br />

If an activity would result in entering an LCO CONDITION,<br />

the applicable REQulRED ACTIONS must be entered<br />

before performing the activity. This also applies to<br />

significant risk SR inspections or tests covered by<br />

LCO 3.0.6.<br />

LCO specified times for SRs or REQUIRED ACTIONS can<br />

be extended for the duration <strong>of</strong> an EMERGENCY<br />

EVACUATION from a facility. This is an exception to<br />

LCO 3.0.2 and SR 4.0.1.<br />

REQUIRED ACTION(S) shall be iuitiated when a<br />

CONDITION is DISCOVERED and shall be completed<br />

within the allowable COMPLETION TIME(S).<br />

Any activity that can be placed in a safe configuration shall<br />

be terminated within the REQUIRED ACTION<br />

COMPLETION TIME.<br />

LCO Applicability Statements or SRs define when SRs must<br />

be met. LCO REQUIRJD ACTIONS must be entered upon<br />

failure to meet an SR LCO-related SAFETY SSCs must<br />

meet applicable SRS before being declared OPERABLE.<br />

SRS define inspectiodtest fresuencies that must be met.<br />

Refer to SR 4.0.3 when SR frequencies are not met.<br />

Failure to perform an SR within the specified fhpency shall<br />

constitute a failure to meet OPERABILITY requirements for<br />

an LCO and results in a TSWSR VIOLATION.<br />
