4.5.5 Audience survey<br />

This section describes the results of an audience survey that was conducted<br />

during the ‘PBB’ exhibition. The aim of this survey was to gather qualitative<br />

statements from members of the public about the exhibition.<br />

From the responses gathered 6 visitors (21%) that attended the exhibition found<br />

out about the project partners from folly. 5 visitors (18%) first became aware of<br />

them while at the exhibition or had known about folly because they lived locally<br />

and had previously heard of folly. 5 visitors (18%) had been informed by a tutor<br />

at St. Martin’s College. 5 visitors (18%) found out via word of mouth. 2 visitors<br />

(7%) had heard of them through Lancaster University's research, development<br />

and business centre in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).<br />

Another 2 visitors (7%) had seen a poster advertising the festival and exhibition.<br />

1 visitor (4%) had discovered them at a Business Link event and another (4%)<br />

found them on the Internet.<br />
