also listed. The proportional share for off-site intersections is calculated by divided the project generated<br />

traffic volume by the total intersection volume for each respective scenario.<br />

exclusive left turn lane. Alternatively, consider installation of a roundabout.<br />

6.2 Bike, Pedestrian and Transit Facilities<br />

The traffic impacts of the project are not expected to have significant negative impact on non-motorized<br />

users. The addition of frontage improvements as discussed below will enhance bike and pedestrian<br />

facilities and ac<strong>com</strong>modation adjacent to the project site.<br />

It is re<strong>com</strong>mended that the project install pedestrian (sidewalks or trails) and bike lanes along Hwy 2 and<br />

Craig Rd. project site frontages according applicable requirements of WSDOT, City of Airway Heights<br />

and Spokane County and to <strong>com</strong>ply with local bike/pedestrian plans developed by the City of Airway<br />

Heights in the vicinity of the project.<br />
