Appendix A: Reading Your Own Astrology Chart
Saturn Square, Semi-square, or Sesqui-square Pluto: Power struggles may occur, in particular
between your sense of responsibility and an urge to transform yourself utterly. Your more orderly
self tends to ignore signs of change until they erupt as major upheavals. An ongoing cycle.
Uranus Conjunct Neptune: You could be a visionary, with unusual and direct insight into
everything mystical, the dreams and ideals we all have. You are at your most creative when you
are using your imagination, pursuing your dreams, creating images.
Uranus Opposite Neptune: Your ideals and dreams may be quite conventional, and you tend
to avoid that which is strange and unusual. One result of this would be an attraction/revulsion
to psychic and mystical ideas.
Uranus Trine, Sextile, or Semi-sextile Neptune: A new and waking vision of unity. A powerful
sense of music and a faith in making the ideal a reality—for reality to be as we dreamed it
and our dreams to become as real. New concepts in group work. “The dewdrop slips into the
shining sea.”
Uranus Square, Semi-square or Sesqui-square Neptune: Your independence and unconventional
manner may be at the expense of ideals and dreams. You may alternate between following
your more traditional ideals and shattering your self-image via some very erratic and unusual
behavior.
Uranus Conjunct Pluto: You are insightful, always darting straight to the heart of things and
never shy about working with the most sensitive and vulnerable areas of the human psyche.
You love new and different ways of self-discovery and transformation.
Uranus Opposite Pluto: You go out of your way to avoid intense and meaningful conversations,
relationships, and such. You rebel against passionate displays of affection and deep personal
probing.
Uranus Trine, Sextile, or Semi-sextile Pluto: Spiritual or psychological insight of the first
order. Social and/or political revelation. Looking into the inner workings of the mind and psyche.
New and fresh viewpoints into the social scene, mass psychology. Intense light.
Uranus Square, Semi-square, or Sesqui-square Pluto: Your sense of originality and insight
does not go so far as to inquire into areas of psychological sensitivity and vulnerability, which
you tend to leave alone. This can produce tension to the degree that you possess a need for
inner growth and change.
Neptune Conjunct Pluto: Your interests are anything but superficial and always reach beyond
the conventional into the realms of mysticism and depth psychology. Imagination and matters
of deep personal change are of the greatest importance to you.
Neptune Opposite Pluto: Your dreams and ideals tend to be at odds with your instinctive
sense of security and survival. You take care of business on the practical level, while imagining
better things for yourself.
