1976, 19:56 hrs. GMT in Acton, to provide a means of bringing together those working in, or
interested in learning about, the many different fields of esoteric study, especially astrology,
palmistry, numerology, and various psychic disciplines. BAPS is the only organization that
operates a consultant-vetting procedure and publishes a register of approved consultants in disciplines
other than astrology. It pursues an educational policy through consultant workshops,
lectures, educational institutes, and local groups. Quarterly journal The Mercury is free to
members or available by annual subscription.

Director: Liz Greene. The CPA was founded June 12, 1983, at 14:45 BST, London. It is the outstanding
center in the world for the study of astrology in relationship to depth psychology. It
runs regular courses and seminars in London and occasional additional seminars in Zürich. A
three-term Introduction to Psychological Astrology course is run by Clare Martin. This course
covers planets, signs, elements, houses, aspects, transits, and progressions, and aims to equip the
student with the necessary knowledge to attend the CPA diploma seminars. Seminars are usually
on Sundays at Regent’s College, Regent’s Park, London NW1. The CPA also publishes a wide
range of transcribed seminars in book form, all available from the CPA Press. Distribution: John

14, 1983, 21:29 GMT, in Queen Square, London. The Company is the home of Divinatory
Astrology, and seeks to establish a modern craft-based discipline of traditional astrology that
acknowledges astrology’s connections with psychotherapy and contemporary philosophy as
well as reexamining horoscopy in the light of divination. It runs a range of courses and seminars,
mainly London-based, covering various aspects of natal, horary, and mundane astrology,
plus additional study programs in other forms of divination, especially tarot and I Ching. In
the theory and practice of astrology, the COA offers a range of certificate and diploma qualifications,
as well as Katarche, a horary astrology correspondence course. Its public seminars are
held fortnightly in Hampstead. The Company publishes a fortnightly email bulletin on the
new and full moons as part of its Friends of the Company scheme. Complimentary copies are
