provided <strong>the</strong> basis for <strong>the</strong> current listing. It was formed at 00 hrs MET on November 9, 1970,<br />

in London, to encourage <strong>the</strong> study of <strong>astrology</strong> in <strong>the</strong> fullest sense with particular awareness of<br />

links to o<strong>the</strong>r related disciplines, including astronomy, philosophy, and <strong>the</strong> arts. The UT sponsors<br />

projects and makes grants to individuals and groups as funds permit. It assists research<br />

through <strong>the</strong> Michel Gauquelin Memorial Fund, donations to which are always most appreciated.<br />

The UT’s publications department works to publish key texts that would o<strong>the</strong>rwise not be<br />

available to students of <strong>astrology</strong>.<br />

Academy of Predictive Astrology: The largest school of predictive <strong>astrology</strong> in <strong>the</strong> United<br />

States and <strong>the</strong> only school that specializes in <strong>the</strong> teaching of predictive techniques based on<br />

<strong>the</strong> masters who dominated <strong>the</strong> field in centuries past. Students in America can also draw<br />

upon leading articles and texts that relate to <strong>astrology</strong> that is specific to <strong>the</strong>ir own history and<br />

outlook. The courses are both Internet-based and/or by correspondence. All students have<br />

direct access to audio lectures, texts with diagrams and tables, an online library, e<strong>book</strong>s, and<br />

articles. Both certificates for <strong>the</strong> beginner or diplomas for <strong>the</strong> more advanced students are<br />
