(2) For periods of less than 12 months, annual charges for clothing and equipment will be levied
on the following scale :-
Less than 1 month .. No charge
From 1 to 3 months .. 1
⁄4 Do
From 3 to 6 months .. 1
⁄2 Do
From 6 to 9 months .. 3
⁄4 Do
From 9 to 12 months .. Full charge
5. Period for which the post recommended.
6. Opinion of the Tehsildar as to the cost of the post not being excessive in reference to the revenue
and prosperity of the village (the description, strength and cost of municipal or village police
already existing in the place should be mentioned).
7. Grounds of application -
(To be followed by opinion of District Magistrate, Deputy Inspector General of Police and
Commissioner in that order).
