Bernard Gay, Chercheur au Centre national de la recherche scientifique
(CNRS), [France : IRSEA-Marseille], est membre associé à l’Institut de
recherches sur la culture (IRC) [Laos : Vientiane], depuis 1989. Ses
ouvrages et articles sur le Laos portent sur l’étude des contestations
populaires (XIX e -XX e siècle) et l’histoire des frontières modernes et
contemporaines.
Dr Bernard Gay, Researcher at the National Centre of Scientific Research
[France : IRSEA-Marseille], is an associate member at the Institute for
Cultural Rechearch [Laos : Vientiane], since 1989. His books and articles
about Laos involve the study of the popular revolts (19 th -20 th century), and
the history of the modern and contemporary boundaries.
Khamla Sisomphou, Documentaliste, travaille depuis 1998 sur la collecte
des documents contemporains du Laos et des pays du Mékong.

NguyÔn Hµo Hïng, Chercheur à l’Institut d’Asie du Sud-Est [Viêt-Nam :
Hanoi], a publié de nombreux ouvrages et études sur le Laos. Il dirige la
revue « Histoire ».
Dr NguyÔn Hµo Hïng, Researcher at the Institute of Southeast Asia
[Viêt-Nam : Hanoi], has published many books and articles on Laos. He is
the Director of the review « History ».
Yang Baoyung, Professeur d’histoire contemporaine, directeur du
Département Asie- Pacifique qui relève de l’Institut d’études afro-asiatique à
l’Université de Pékin, a publié plusieurs monographies et articles sur le Viêt-
Nam et l’Asie du Sud-Est.
Dr Yang Baoyung, Professor of contemporary history, director of the
Afro-Asian Department at Beijing University’s Centre for Asia-Pacific
Studies, has published numerous monographs and articles about Vietnam
and Southeast Asia.
