Introduce the Wider Cultural Context
Terms such as enculturation, acculturation, cultural adaptation and others have been
used over the years to refer to a situation in which trans-migrant individuals learn to
live in a different society to that of their early years or their forebears. CLIL can be used
to facilitate such processes of cultural/linguistic adaptation.
