Introduce a Target Language
This focus allows a school to introduce a language in a non-formal way that is often
geared towards developing interest in further study. It can be found across the whole age
range, and may even involve a language that is not usually taught in the school
environment.
Key CLIL Features
➔
or vice-versa
➔ Normally used only in low exposure programmes
➔ Particularly interesting in respect to vocational and professional education where
formal language instruction may not exist
Examples
