ONG 1 Constat/Overview
La note de synthèse provisoire ci-jointe dresse un
premier constat de la problématique du tourisme dans
le développement durable en Méditerranée. Quels sont
vos commentaires ? Avez-vous des suggestions ou des
propositions pour le compléter et l’illustrer ?
The provisional summary attached provides an initial
overview of the problems related to tourism within the
sustainable development of the Mediterranean area.
What are your comments? Have you any suggestions or
proposals to add?
EcoMediterrania Il faut faire attention aux dissymétries existantes parmi les
pays méditerranéens, reflet de l’hétérogénéité de cette région
et aussi de l’inégal niveau de spécialisation et rythme de
développement des activités touristiques. Dans cette région,
trois pays (Espagne, France, Italie) concentrent plus de 75%
des arrivées touristiques en Méditerranée. Au contraire, il y a
huit pays (Albanie, Algérie, Bosnie-Herzégovine, Slovénie,
Yougoslavie, Liban, Libye et Syrie) qui participent très peu à
l’économie touristique, puisqu’ensemble ils concentrent moins
de 2% des arrivées touristiques en Méditerranée.
MIO-ECSDE The main issues are comprehensively described. It can also be
mentioned :
• the exceptional appreciation given to sustainability criteria and
indicators for tourism development, in order to facilitate specific
sustainability plans in a region ;
• the specific roles that various stakeholders can play in reorienting
tourism forward more sustainable patterns.
EOAEN The provisional summary provides an initial overview of the
problems related to tourism within the sustainable
development of the Mediterranean area. It has described the
problem thoroughly and covered all the aspects related to the
sustainable tourism development in the Mediterranean sea.
We suggest that we have to develop a model which will
determine the procedure according to which it is possible to
estimate the tourist capacity as well as to propose policy
measures as long as a specific tourist resort has reached the
capacity level.
