Slovénie At the national level :
• Ministry for small & medium enterprises and tourism
• Interministerial Tourism Council at the Government
• Business associations and civil organisations having the majority of
responsibilities (legal, political, business planning, promotion)
• The Government has more than 20 “ regional ” offices.
At the regional level, a law is in preparation to introduce 11-15
regions in order to co-ordinate development.
At the community level (200 communities), the local tourist
organisations will be organised with mixed structures.
Croatie National level : National Tourism Organisation
Bosnie-
Herzégovine
County level : 21 County Tourist Organisations
Towns and municipalities level : local tourism organisation
where tourism is important (predominantly in coastal areas)
Microregional tourism organisations are also possible, like
Island of Krk TO, with one town and five municipalities.
TOs are financed from overnight tax (including secondary
residences) and fee from local economical subjects
(industries...) according to a different scheme depending of
tourism importance (A, B, C and D).
According to the law about TO, 65% of the revenues goes to
local TO, 10% to county TO and 25% to NTO.
Law (24/09/1996) on tourist organisations and tourism in
Federation of B&H. Those organisations can be formed on
federal, cantonal or municipal level. Basic unit for tourism is
tourism settlement.
Federal Ministry of Trade is in charge for the matters of
tourism.
Albanie The National Committee for the Development of Tourism have
in charge:
the compilation of the regulations for the development of tourism,
the classification of the types of investment
the approval of the investments for tourism (public and private.
Legal framework: Law for the Tourism and the Resolution
NR.90, 1993, which approves priority regions and strategy of
tourism development.
Implementations procedures: by the local authorities, usually
the office of urban planning at the Municipality or District.
Grèce Ministère du Développement : supervision générale du
tourisme sur le plan national (politique, législation).
