Slovénie At the national level :<br />

• Ministry for small & medium enterprises and tourism<br />

• Interministerial Tourism Council at the Government<br />

• Business associations and civil organisations having the majority of<br />

responsibilities (legal, political, business planning, promotion)<br />

• The Government has more than 20 “ regional ” offices.<br />

At the regional level, a law is in preparation to introduce 11-15<br />

regions in order to co-ordinate development.<br />

At the community level (200 communities), the local tourist<br />

organisations will be organised with mixed structures.<br />

Croatie National level : National Tourism Organisation<br />

Bosnie-<br />

Herzégovine<br />

County level : 21 County Tourist Organisations<br />

Towns and municipalities level : local tourism organisation<br />

where tourism is important (predominantly in coastal areas)<br />

Microregional tourism organisations are also possible, like<br />

Island of Krk TO, with one town and five municipalities.<br />

TOs are financed from overnight tax (including secondary<br />

residences) and fee from local economical subjects<br />

(industries...) according to a different scheme depending of<br />

tourism importance (A, B, C and D).<br />

According to the law about TO, 65% of the revenues goes to<br />

local TO, 10% to county TO and 25% to NTO.<br />

Law (24/09/1996) on tourist organisations and tourism in<br />

Federation of B&H. Those organisations can be formed on<br />

federal, cantonal or municipal level. Basic unit for tourism is<br />

tourism settlement.<br />

Federal Ministry of Trade is in charge for the matters of<br />

tourism.<br />

Albanie The National Committee for the Development of Tourism have<br />

in charge:<br />

the compilation of the regulations for the development of tourism,<br />

the classification of the types of investment<br />

the approval of the investments for tourism (public and private.<br />

Legal framework: Law for the Tourism and the Resolution<br />

NR.90, 1993, which approves priority regions and strategy of<br />

tourism development.<br />

Implementations procedures: by the local authorities, usually<br />

the office of urban planning at the Municipality or District.<br />

Grèce Ministère du Développement : supervision générale du<br />

tourisme sur le plan national (politique, législation).<br />
