Income Tax Project<br />
Recall, <strong>Makivik</strong>’s Income Tax Project was started when changes<br />
were made to the Family Allowance Act in 1992-1993, obliging<br />
both spouses to file income tax<br />
returns in order to receive benefits.<br />
Our <strong>2010</strong>-<strong>2011</strong> Income Tax<br />
Project provided temporary employment<br />
for 19 Inuit agents from<br />
March through May <strong>2011</strong>. A training<br />
and tax law renewal course took<br />
place from February 21 to February<br />
25, <strong>2011</strong> in Inukjuak for new and<br />
returning Hudson coast agents and<br />
from February 28 to March 4 , <strong>2011</strong> in<br />

<strong>Makivik</strong> a instauré le programme de déclarations de revenus<br />
lorsque des modifications ont été apportées à la Loi sur les<br />
allocations familiales en 1993-1993<br />
obligeant les deux conjoints à<br />
produire des déclarations de revenus<br />
afin de recevoir les avantages prévus<br />
par la Loi.<br />
En <strong>2010</strong>-<strong>2011</strong>, le projet a fourni de<br />
l’emploi à 19 agents inuits de mars à<br />
mai <strong>2011</strong>. Un cours de formation et<br />
de mise à jour a été offert aux agents<br />
de l’Hudson à Inukjuak du 21 au 25<br />
