REPÚBLICA DO LIVRO: LEITURA E FORMAÇÃO DO PROFESSOR-LEITOR NO<br />

CURSO DE LETRAS<br />

Resumo<br />

Nesta comunicação discute-se o projeto <strong>de</strong> extensão em andamento no Curso <strong>de</strong> Letras da<br />

<strong>Universida<strong>de</strong></strong> Anhanguera-Uni<strong>de</strong>rp, intitula<strong>do</strong> República <strong>do</strong> Livro: leitura e formação <strong>do</strong><br />

professor – leitor no Curso <strong>de</strong> Letras, que visa formar o aluno <strong>de</strong> Letras em professor-leitor.<br />

Na primeira etapa <strong>do</strong> projeto elegeu-se o gênero narrativo conto, priorizan<strong>do</strong> autores<br />

nacionais. Criou-se como ferramenta para participação <strong>do</strong>s alunos o blog “República <strong>do</strong><br />

Livro”, por meio <strong>do</strong> qual os alunos interagem com professores e colegas, postan<strong>do</strong> seus<br />

comentários. Os encontros acontecem semanalmente, no perío<strong>do</strong> <strong>de</strong> uma hora, na<br />

universida<strong>de</strong>, nos quais o Professor Media<strong>do</strong>r da Leitura (PML) incentiva os alunos a<br />

apresentarem suas impressões sobre os textos. O blog dispõe ainda <strong>de</strong> links que trazem<br />

informações sobre diferentes autores da literatura, en<strong>de</strong>reços para publicações, notícias sobre<br />

cinema, cultura, artes e literatura. São disponibilizadas enquetes, fundamentais na obtenção <strong>de</strong><br />

resulta<strong>do</strong>s na pesquisa. O PML é o organiza<strong>do</strong>r <strong>do</strong> Grupo <strong>de</strong> Leitura Acadêmica (GLA), conta<br />

com o apoio <strong>do</strong> Facilita<strong>do</strong>r da Leitura (FL), aluno responsável pela coleta <strong>de</strong> da<strong>do</strong>s,<br />

entrevistas, relatos e tabulação <strong>do</strong>s mesmos. O aluno <strong>de</strong> Letras, como futuro professor-leitor<br />

<strong>de</strong>sempenhará o papel <strong>de</strong> dissemina<strong>do</strong>r da leitura, forman<strong>do</strong> alunos leitores.<br />

Abstract<br />

This communication discusses the extension project un<strong>de</strong>r <strong>de</strong>velopment in the Course of<br />

Letter at Anhanguera-Uni<strong>de</strong>rp University entitled The Book Republic: reading and teacher<br />

training in the Course of Letters, which aims to form stu<strong>de</strong>nts into a reading teacher. In the<br />

first stage of the project the short story was elected as the narrative genre, prioritizing<br />

Brazilian authors. It was created a blog called "República <strong>do</strong> Livro" through which stu<strong>de</strong>nts<br />

interact with teachers and classmates by posting their comments. The meetings are held<br />

weekly at the university when the Reading Mediator Teacher (PML) encourages stu<strong>de</strong>nts to<br />

present their views on the texts. The blog also has links that provi<strong>de</strong> information about<br />

different authors, addresses for publications, news about filmS, culture, arts and literature.<br />

Some quizzes are available on the blog, which are consi<strong>de</strong>red as key factors in achieving<br />

results in the research. The PML is the organizer of Aca<strong>de</strong>mic Reading Group (GLA) and he<br />

has the support of the Reading Facilitator (FL), a stu<strong>de</strong>nt responsible for data collection,<br />

interviews, reports and tabulation. The stu<strong>de</strong>nt of Letters, as a future reading teacher is<br />

supposed to act as a disseminator of reading, forming therefore reading stu<strong>de</strong>nts.<br />

1. A MEDIAÇÃO E O PROFESSOR-LEITOR<br />

A leitura tem o po<strong>de</strong>r <strong>de</strong> <strong>de</strong>spertar em nós regiões que estavam<br />

até então a<strong>do</strong>rmecidas. Tal como o belo príncipe <strong>do</strong> conto <strong>de</strong><br />
