kelteznek.
Az ásatás során viszonylag nagy számban
kerültek elő fémtárgyak (érmek,
bronz karkötő, övcsat, fi bulák, ékköves
gyűrű, stílus stb.). (5. kép) Az érmek
Nerva és I. Constantinus uralkodása közti
időszakból származnak (az éremanyag
meghatározásáért Torbágyi Melindának
tartozom köszönettel). A késői darabok
a vicus lakottságának, illetve felhagyásának
idejéhez nem nyújtanak egyértelmű
támpontot, ugyanis ezek előfordulását a
limesút közelsége indokolhatta.
A Panel út idei feltárásában Szirmai
Krisztina is résztvett, akinek ezúton is
megköszönöm segítségét. A régészeti terepi
munkák 2005-ben várható befejezése
és az ezt követő remélhetőleg mielőbbi
részletes publikáció az albertfalvi auxiliáris
vicus egy újabb, sűrűn lakott területéről
nyújt majd értékes adatokat.

The rest of the rooms in the building,
which was probably a residential, and the
rest of the residential and out-buildings
on the lot can be expected north of Panel
Road.
Postholes and pits of the timber period
at the vicus were uncovered beneath the
level of the stone building. The oblong,
semi-subterranean, 230 cm wide feature
identifi ed as a dwelling belonged to the
same early period, which contained a
number of Samian wares of Drag 36 type
decorated with barbotine ornaments.
The length of the feature could not be
determined because of the modern drain
pipe.
The southeastern corner of the lot
enclosed by a fencing wall was bordered
by a mortared stone wall (3/b) suggesting
that a small room was attached to
the fencing wall. A distance of 7 m was
measured between the mortared wall
and the north–south section of the fence
foundation. The northern end wall has
not yet been found (the clarifi cation of
the ground plan in the north is among
the targets set for 2005). Twenty-seven
postholes were found inside the room
(Fig. 4). They were certainly part of the
enclosed room, as seen by the fact that
all the postholes discovered on the investigated
surface lay inside this room.
A 4 metres broad road made from gravel,
small stones and roof tile fragments
was found on the eastern side of the
north–south section of the fence foundation
(feature no. 26). It started from the
same layer as the limy construction level
of the fence so it must have belonged
to the same stone period. The cross-cut
made over a smaller surface revealed that
the 10 cm thick road was single layer with
no signs of renovation.
