hala dó, lefelé szűkülő oldalú árkokat (3/
1-3. objektumok) átlagban 4 méter távolságban
létesítették, a 40–50 centiméter
széles, 10–20 centiméter mély, egyenes
aljú paliszád árok (3/12. objektum) a
legbelső ároktól 2 méter távolságra húzódott.
A paliszád belső oldalán, attól 150
centiméter távolságra két 150–170 centiméter
hosszú, 30-40 centiméter széles,
egymástól 150 centiméterre jelentkező
sekély árokszakaszt is megfi gyeltünk (3/
13. objektum). A rövid árkok és a paliszád
között átlósan haladó, bizonytalanul jelentkező
hasonló szélességű sekély árkot
is dokumentáltunk (3/15. objektum).
A hármas árokrendszer többnyi re 3–3,5
méter szélességben je lentkező legbelső
árkának (3/1. objektum) oldala „V”
alakban szűkült, legaljának kutatását a
folyamatosan megjelenő talajvíz nehezí-

(Fig. 2) The parallel ditches with downward
narrowing sides (features no. 3/1–3)
were established at a distance of 4 m on
average. The 40–50 cm wide and 10–20
cm deep palisade ditch with a fl at bottom
(feature no. 3/12) ran 2 m from the
innermost ditch. Two 150–170 cm long
and 30–40 cm wide stretches of shallow
ditches (feature 3/13) were observed 150
m apart on the inside of the palisade, 150
cm away from it. A diagonal, amorphous
shallow trench with a similar width was
also documented between the short
ditches and the palisade ditch (feature
3/15). The sides of the innermost ditch
(feature 3/1) of the triple ditch system,
which mostly had a width of 3–3.5 m,
narrowed into a V-shape. The uncovering
of its bottom was diffi cult because of the
