jelenő Somogyvár-Vinkovci edényformák
a Somogyvár-Vinkovci-kultúra dél–északi
összekötő szerepével magyarázható. A
telepet, hasonló korú telepek radiocarbon
adatai alapján a Kr. e. 2600–2200 közé
datálhatjuk. (VUČEDOL 40, 45) A telep
nagy mérete összefügg a korszakban zajló
életmódbeli változásokkal. (REMÉNYI
2003a, 2003b)
Az előkerült kora bronzkori leletegyüttes
kiemelkedő darabja az 1373. objektumban
előkerült idoltöredék. Az idolnak csupán
a nyaka és feje maradt meg, az arcot
realisztikusan kidolgozták, a fejet párta,
vagy esetleg korona díszíti. Az idol eltér a
korszak jellegzetes lapos idoljaitól, (BON-
DÁR 1995, 218–220) párhuzamai a Kárpát-medencéből
és a környező területekről
egyedül a Somogyvár-Vinkovci-kultúra börzöncei
telepéről ismertek, itt két, rosszabb
kidolgozású példány ke rült elő. (BONDÁR
1995) Az idollal egy gödörből származó
kerámiaanyag párhuzamait a So mogyvár-Vinkovci-kultúra
lelőhelyeiről, (BÓNA
1965, DIMITRIJEVIČ 1982) így például
Börzöncéről is merjük. (BONDÁR 1995)
A lakópark nyugati szélén, az egykori
Vasvári-laktanya kerítése melletti szélső
sávban egy Vatya-Koszider kori település
néhány tucat gödre is napvilágot látott. A
település pontos kiterjedése jelenleg nem
állapítható meg, de a 8. lakótömb területén
további objektumok előkerülése várható.
A feltárás során egy, a kora vaskor idejére
tehető nyílt színi település maradványait
is megtaláltuk, mely egy 50 méter széles
és mintegy 350 méter hosszú sávban
húzódott, a Kő-ér-patakot északról kísérő
dombvonulat gerincvonalában. Elképzelhető,
hogy e telephez tartozhattak a Nagy
Margit által 1977-ben a Vasvári laktanya
területén feltárt koravaskori leletek. (BTM
the earth-moving machinery. The large
number of daub fragments coming from
the walls of houses suggests the existence
of above-ground post or plank construction
houses. The pits were cylindrical or
beehive-shaped. Some of the bee-hive
shaped pits had bottoms where yellow
clay had been heaped in a cone. (Fig. 9).
In a number of cases we found small
animal bones or a few ceramics under
them although these layers often proved
empty. The pits that can be regarded as
cultic features were also beehive-shaped
but mostly lacked the above-mentioned
“cones”. They had a special composition
with a large quantity of ash with burnt
shards and/or animal bones in it, entire
vessels and sometimes querns placed on
the bottom. It must be remarked that the
majority of these features lay inside the
Copper Age ditch and never disturbed
despite their considperiodble sizes, the
nearby Middle Copper Age cultic pits.
The unsystematic distribution of the
Early Bronze Age features implies that
further settlement centres are likely to be
unearthed in the excavation territory.
Preliminary analysis of the cperiodmic
material from the settlement shows that
the characteristic shapes (pedestalled
bowls with interior ornaments, amphorae,
posts, handled jugs and bowls) of the
Makó culture (KALICZ 1968, KALICZ
1984) and the Somogyvár-Vinkovci
culture (BÓNA 1965, DIMITRIJEVIČ
1982, BONDÁR 1995) may all be found
here. In addition, Bell-beaker fragments
were also recovered from a few pits at
the settlements. Rózsa Kalicz-Schreiber
has demonstrated the parallel existence
of the Somogyvár-Vinkovci culture
and the Bell-beaker-Csepel group (KA-
LICZ-SCHREIBER 1976), and dated the
