Az építkezést megelőző régészeti feltárást
2003 szeptemberében kezdtük
meg a MAC. Kft meg bízásából. Ettől
kezdve 15 hónapon keresztül, rö vid év
végi leállással dolgoztunk. Ennek során
olyan lelőhely került feltárásra, melyen a
neoli ti kum óta kisebb nagyobb megszakításokkal
emberi települések léteztek.
A teljes feltárandó terület 26 hektár,
amely nek eddig közel 85%-át kutattuk
át, melyen jelenlegi tudásunk szerint 14
történeti korszak és alperiódus objektumai
találhatóak.
A sürgető határidő miatt, egész télen
dolgoztunk, ami sok esetben nehezítette,
néha lehetetlenné is tette munkánkat.
Kezdetben 40–50, majd nyáron 160–165
munkással és az őket dokumentálásban
követő 20–25 diákkal, rajzolóval, technikussal.
Volt, amikor az összlétszám megközelítette
a 200 főt.

the territory (Fig. 1). The archaeological
excavation preceding the construction
was commissioned the MAC Ltd. in
September 2003. We worked 15 months
with a short interruption at the end of
the year. The result was the excavation of
a site where human settlements followed
each other from the Neolithic with short
breaks in the sequence. The entire territory
to be unearthed covers 26 hectares
of which about 85% has already been investigated.
On this surface, features from
14 historical periods and their phases have
been found.
We worked all through the winter to
keep to the terms of the agreement with
the contractor, which often made our job
diffi cult, sometimes even impossible. Initially
