párhuzamosan futó 8-as szelvényünk tűnt
újkori feltöltéstől mentesnek, de sekély
újkori épületalapozások, beásások számos
objektumot itt is megbolygattak.
A 2004-es ásatás során 130 objektumot
tártunk fel, melyek körülbelül egyharmadának
kora meghatározhatatlan, mivel
többségükből állatcsonton kívül más leletanyag
nem került elő. Ennek oka elsősorban
a fent vázolt talajcsere lehet. A lelet
nélküli, igen sekély objektumok másik
része pedig újkorinak bizonyult.
Az előkerült régészeti objektumok közül
a legkorábbi időszakot egy viszonylag
mélyebben fekvő területen előkerült két
méhkas alakú és néhány alaktalan, sekély
újkőkori gödör képviseli. Az utóbbiak a
telepnek erózió és talajcsere által elpusztított
vékony kultúrrétegének maradványai.
Az ezekben talált kerámiatöredékek a
Dunántúli Vonaldíszes kultúra fi atalabb
szakaszába sorolják a teleprészletet. A
töredékek nagy része díszítetlen, néhány
kottafejes, körömcsípéses és bütyökdíszes
töredék emelhető ki.
A lelőhely magasabban fekvő északi
részén, a Rákos-patak medrét követő
homok hordalékháton került elő a középső
rézkor időszakára datálható 67-es
objektum. A kerek, teknős aljú gödörbe
egy holttestet dobtak. A csontváz a gödör
alján anatómiai rendben feküdt, de
mindkét lábát térdtől levágták és a test
mellé hajították. (1. kép) A csonkítás
mellett a koponyán egy nagyobb méretű
ovális lyukat is megfi gyeltünk. A mellkasát
több nagyobb méretű, durvított felületű
kerámiatöredékekkel takarták be. (2. kép)
A gödör alján, az északi részen és középen,
a csontváz mellkasának vonalában égésre
utaló hamus foltot tártunk fel, a koponya
egy kis felületen megégett. A gödör falánál,

shallower features probably perished during
the course of earth-moving. Traces of
this event could be observed in trenches 5
and 7. Here only the bottoms of the pits
could be observed in most cases, and the
majority did not contain fi nds because of
the disturbances. Only trench 8, which
ran parallel to Miskolci Street, seemed to
be void of any modern fi ll, although shallow
modern building foundations and pits
disturbed many features here as well.
A hundred and thirty features were
uncovered in 2004. The date could not
be determined for a third of these features
since most of them contained nothing
but animal bones. This may have been the
result of the above-mentioned exchange
of soil. The other part of the very shallow
features without fi nds proved to have
come from the modern period.
The earliest period is represented by two
beehive-shaped pits and a few amorphous,
shallow Neolithic pits found in a relatively
deeper territory. The latter ones are the remains
of the thin culture-bearing layer of
the settlement, damaged by erosion and
the exchange of soil. The ceramic shards
found in it date this settlement fragment
with the younger phase of the Transdanubian
Linear Pottery culture. Most of the
fragments are undecorated. Of note are a
few fragments with note-head, pinched
and knob ornaments.
Feature no. 67 from the Middle Copper
Age was uncovered on an alluvial
sand ridge running along the basin of the
Rákos Stream in the higher northern part
of the site. A corpse had been thrown into
the trough-shaped pit. The skeleton lay on
the bottom of the pit in anatomical order
although both legs had been cut off at the
knees and bent beside the body (Fig. 1).
