több mint 200 régészeti objektum került
elő, amelyek zömét rézkori, bronzkori és
római kori telepjelenségek tették ki. Ezen
kívül egy-egy objektum reprezentálta a La
Tène D periódust, valamint a középkort
(13–14. század). Az őskori jelenségek terepi
feltáró munkái Endrődi Anna vezetésével
zajlottak, értékelésük jelen kötetben
olvasható. Az alábbiakban csupán a római
kor összefoglalására szorítkozunk.
A nagyjából kelet–nyugati irányú, 270
méter hosszú ásatási terület az albertfalvi
auxiliáris vicus nyugati peremterületén
helyezkedik el. Keleti vége az auxiliáris
tábortól körülbelül 380 méterre húzó-
Altogether more than 200 archaeological
features were uncovered on a surface
covering about 7000 square metres. Most
were settlement phenomena from the
Copper Age, the Bronze Age and the Roman
period. In addition there was one
feature from the La Tène D period and
one from the Middle Ages (13 th –14 th centuries).
The excavation of the prehistoric
features was directed by Anna Endrődi.
Her analysis can be read in this volume. In
the following we will sum up the fi nding
from the Roman period.
