találtunk a száj közelében sírobuluszt.
Az elmondottak ellenére, viszonylag gyakorinak
mondhatók az ezüst mellékletek,
elsősorban a gyűrűk, de találtunk hagymafejes
fi bulát, hajtűt is ezüstből.
A temetőrészlet bolygatottsága körülbelül
50%-os, ami még elfogadhatónak
mondható. (ZSIDI 1996/1997, 29, 31) Az
épített sírok mindegyikét, a helyben hamvasztásos
sírt, továbbá öt föld- és fakoporsós
sírt bolygattak meg. Bolygatáson belül
különbséget kell tennünk a rablásos és a
vétlen esetek között. Az épített sírokat
kivétel nélkül rabolták, míg a szegényebb
sírok közül kettő ugyancsak a fosztogatók
áldozatául esett. Egy sírt a római kori,
északnyugat–délkeleti tájolású fal, egy
másikat a legújabb kori falak egyikének
alapozásakor pusztítottak el részlegesen,
a megtalált nyughely teljes kifosztása
nélkül. Sajátságos az a szuperpozíciós
eset (25. és 28. sír), ahol egy bolygatatlan,
északnyugat–délkeleti tájolású sírban két
koponyát találtunk, egyet az anatómiailag
megfelelő helyen, egyet a bal könyök mellett.
A csontváz felszedése után, szinte
pontosan az előbbi alatt egy ugyanolyan
tájolású és testhelyzetű csontvázat találtunk,
koponya nélkül. A sírgödör tájékán
pedig egy emberi koponyatető és alsóállkapocs
több darabja hevert szétszór tan. A
nem anatómiai rendben előkerült csontok
hovatartozását az antropológiai vizsgálat
fogja tisztázni. Ennek jelenlegi hiányában
az eseményeket az alábbi módon rekonstruáljuk:
a legkorábbi betemetkezéshez
tartozó csontvázat eltávolították a sírból,
azonban a koponyája egyes darabjai véletlenül
a helyszínen maradtak. Később
a sírhelyet ismét igénybe kívánták venni,
ezúttal azonban az ott fekvőt, koponyája
előkerülése után nem bolygatták, hanem
sekélyebbre ásták a sírt a tervezettnél, a ki-

had been disturbed, which is quite acceptable
(ZSIDI 1996/1997, 29, 31). All
the constructed graves, the grave with the
local cremation rite and fi ve shaft graves
as well as ones with wooden coffi ns were
disturbed. The robbed graves and accidental
disturbances need to be differentiated.
All the constructed graves were robbed,
while only two of the poorer graves had
fallen victim to grave robbers. A grave was
destroyed by the foundation of the Roman
northwest–southeast oriented wall, while
another one was partially destroyed by the
foundation of a modern wall and no grave
robbing was involved. The superposition
where two skulls were found in an undisturbed
northwest–southeast oriented
grave is a special case. One skull was in
its anatomically correct position and the
other lay by the left elbow. After cleaning
the skeleton, another skeleton with
the same orientation and position was
discovered without the skull. At the same
time, fragments of a human cranium and
jaw lay scattered around the grave shaft.
The anthropological analysis will clarify
the attribution of the bones found out of
anatomical order. In the absence of this
analysis, events can be reconstructed in
the following way. The skeleton from the
earlier burial was removed from the grave
although fragments of the skull remained
at the site. Later the burial place was needed
once again; this time however, the body
was not disturbed after the skull had been
found. The grave was not dug as deep as it
had been intended and the removed skull
was replaced to the edge of the new shaft.
The periods represented in this cemetery
segment will not be identifi ed in
this report. Based on formerly uncovered
cemetery, Paula Zsidi identifi ed two
