épülő Kőérberek,
Tóváros-Lakópark területén
folyó régészeti feltárásról
(Budapest, XI. ker., Kőérberek, Tóváros
– Lakópark)
A lelőhely mintegy 26 hektáros területét
keletről a 7-es út, délről a Kő-ér patak,
nyugatról a bu daörsi, egykori Vasvári laktanya,
északról pedig a Budapest–Bécs
vasútvonal határolja. A lelőhely ideá lis
természetföldrajzi környezetben, a Budai-hegységet
több oldalról határoló árkos-sasbérces
kisme dencék egyikében, a
jó megtelepedési feltételekkel és kedvező
közlekedés földrajzi adottságokkal rendelkező
Budaörsi-medencében található.
A déli irányban a Kő-ér patak medrére
lankásan lej tő nyugat–északnyugat – kelet–délkeleti
vonalban futó dombvonulat
környezete ugyanis sokrétű gazdálkodási
rendszer kialakítását teszi lehetővé, a medence
elhelyezkedéséből adódóan pedig
az egyik legfontosabb kelet–nyugati irányú
közlekedési csatorna a régióban, ugyanis
nyugati irányból a Dunához való jutás
legkö zelebb az észak és dél felé egyaránt
15–15 kilométerre lévő Aranyhegyi- és
Benta-patak medencéjében le hetséges. A
Kő-ér patak túloldalán már a 100 méter
relatív szintkülönbséggel kiemelkedő, kiváló
épí tő anyagot biztosító, szarmata- és
lajtamészkőből felépülő Tétényi-fennsík,
északról a Budai-hegy ség keretezi.

The ca 26 hectares site is bordered by the
Kő-ér stream to the south, the former Vasvári
barracks in Budaörs to the west and
the Budapest–Vienna railway to the north.
The site lies in an ideal geographical environment
in the Budaörs Basin, one of the
small basins scattered around the Buda
Hills segmented by trenches and horsts.
It provided excellent conditions for settlement
and communication routes. The environment
on the row of hills, running in
a west–northwest—east–southeast direction
and sloping gently toward the basin of
the Kő-ér stream in the south permitted
the development of a complex economic
system. At the same time, its geographical
position renders it one of the most important
regional communication channels in
an east–west direction, since, coming from
the west, the shortest way to the Danube
leads into the basins of the Aranyhegyi and
the Benta streams, both about 15 km to
the north and the south respectively. The
Tétényi plateau can be found on the other
side of the Kő-ér stream. It is formed from
Sarmatian and Lajta limestone, both excellent
building materials. The Buda hills
