This curriculum offers the student a wide variety of options,<br />
which may lead to a certificate and/or an <strong>As</strong>sociate of Arts<br />
degree. The Certificate program will prepare the student<br />
to work closely with management and various types of<br />
business, professional, educational, or industrial offices. The<br />
student may receive the <strong>As</strong>sociate of Arts degree to ensure<br />
upward mobility in the chosen field of employment. Students<br />
interested in obtaining an <strong>As</strong>sociate of Arts degree, Plan B,<br />
must complete graduation requirements for the Plan B.<br />
Please consult a counselor early in your program for<br />
appropriate general education courses.<br />

The Specialty Certificates are designed for students who do not wish to receive<br />
an <strong>As</strong>sociate of Arts degree. The Computer Applications And Office<br />
Technologies certificate program prepares the student for positions such as:<br />
Administrative Office <strong>As</strong>sistant, Computer Applications Specialist, Legal Office<br />
<strong>As</strong>sistant, Medical Office <strong>As</strong>sistant and, Word Processing Specialist.<br />
