RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH TRASYSTEMS
CORPORATION AS AN EXTRAORDINARY,UNSPECIFIABLE SERVICE FOR
THE IDENTIFICATION AND NOMINATION OF ELIGIBLE
HISTORIC RESOURCES WITHIN THE POWERHOUSE ARTS DISTRICT
REDEVELOPMENT PLAN ARA
TO THE MUNICIPAL, STATE AN NATIONAL REGISTERS OF
HISTORIC PLACES
4. This contract is awarded pursuant to a Request for Proposals and as an
extrordinar, unspecifiable service in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A: I 1-
5(1)(a)(ii) ofthe Local Public Contracts Law because of the reasons stated in the
certification attched hereto; and
5. A notice of ths contract shall be published in a newspaper of general
circulation in Jersey City within ten (10) days of the award; and
6. The resolution authorizing the award of ths contract and the contract itself
shall be available for public inspection; and
7. The total cost of the contract shall not exceed the amounts of the Contract;
and
8. 1bs Agreement shall be subject to the condition that TranSystem
Corporation provide satisfactory evidence of compliance with the
Afrmative Action Amendments to the Law Against Discrimination,
N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 ~~; and
9. TranSystem Corporation ha been selected using the Fair and Open
Process of the Pay-to-Play Law, N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5 ~~.
10. The Certifcation of Compliance with the City's Contractor Pay-to-Play Reform
Ordinance, attched hereto and incorporated herein by reference shall be placed on fie with this
resolution.
