TEMPORARY LICENSE AGREEMENT
TEMPORARY LICENSE AGREEMENT made this day of
i 2010 between the CITY OF JERSEY CITY, a
Municipal Corporation of the State of New Jersey, 280 Grove
Street, Jersey City, New Jersey 07302 (hereinafter referred
to as Licensor); and GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc., 65
Willowbrook Blvd., Wayne, New Jersey 07470 (hereinafter
referred to as Licensee) .
Permission is hereby granted to the Licensee and its
subcontractors to enter upon certain lands and premises over
which the Licensor has a right-of-way for its water aqueduct
and appurtenances thereto situated in Block 2302, Lot 8, on
the tax map of Fairfield, New Jersey, for a period of six
(6) months commencing on the date of this agreement for the
purpose of installing test borings as part of a state-
mandated investigation for PCBs in the area (the proj ect is
more fully described in the plans submitted to and approved
by the Jersey City Water Engineer) .
1. The period of this agreement shall be six (6)
months commencing on the date of this agreement.
2. The Licensee shall pay to the Licensor the sum of
three thousand dollars ($3,000.00) to reimburse the Licensor
for all costs and expenses associated with this agreement.
3. The Licensee shall be liable to and hereby agrees
to indemnify and hold harmless the Licensor and employees of
the Licensor from any and all damages and for any costs and
expenses to which the Licensor and its respective employees
may be subj ected, or which they may suffer or incur by
reason of any loss, property damage, bodily injury, or
death, resulting from an error, admission, or negligent act
