Insert New Paragraph H as follows:<br />

November 16,2009<br />

"Employees who retire after February 1, 2011, who are <strong>the</strong>mselves eligible, or<br />

<strong>the</strong>ir dependents are eligible <strong>to</strong> receive medical and prescription benefits in<br />

retirement shall contribute <strong>the</strong> same amoUnt' in medical and prescription<br />

deductibles, contributions and co-pays as <strong>the</strong>y did on <strong>the</strong> date immediately<br />

preceding <strong>the</strong> date of <strong>the</strong>ir retirement. Thereafter, when increases in medical and<br />

'prescription deductib1es, contributions and co-pays are negotiated for active<br />

employees during any futue' contract negotiations, retirees who retired after<br />

Februar 1,2011 shall be responsible for <strong>the</strong>ir <strong>the</strong>n current paymen<strong>to</strong>n medical<br />

and prescription deductibles, contrbutions and co-pays plus 54% of any increases<br />

that may be negotiated for active employees in <strong>the</strong> future."<br />

Insert New Paragraph I as follows:<br />

"Retirees shall have an anual maximum out-elf-pocket Cap of $1,092.00 per<br />

covered person for prescription drug co-payments. Once a retiree or dependent<br />

has paid $1,092.00 in co-payments in a calendar year, that person is no longer<br />

required <strong>to</strong> pay any prescription drug co-payments for <strong>the</strong> remainder of that<br />

calendar year. Nothng. in this section shall preclude <strong>the</strong> <strong>City</strong> from negotiating a<br />

change in <strong>the</strong> cap on. prescription drg co-payments, subject <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> language set<br />

forth in Paragraph H for retirees."<br />

ModifY Paragraph A(l) <strong>to</strong> read "Effective July 1, 2008, employees shall receive a<br />

wage increase in <strong>the</strong> amount of $1000.00 applied <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> base rate<br />
