Year 2010 temporary budget to make available the ... - Jersey City

The City does not agree to pay for more than one attorney's attendance at meetings,
depositions, conferences or hearings unless the City authorizes such attendance in advance.
Assignment
The services under this contract shall be performed exclusively by Special Counsel not by
any other member of his firm. Special Counsel may assign work under this contract to another
person within the firm only with the approval of the Corporation CounseL.
Special Provisions
The City reserves the right to terminate the within Agreement atany time for any reason
whatsoever, in which event the Special Counsel shall be paid for services due up to the date of
termination. Thereafter, this Agreement shall be considered
null and void with no further rights
or obligations emanatig therefrom. Unless sooner terminated or renewed this agreement shall
end on July 1, 2005.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have set their hands and seal or caused these
presents to be signed by their proper corporate officers and their proper corporate seal hereto
affixed the day, month and year above written.
Affirmative Action Plan
(A) If the contract exceeds $9,200, it shall also be subject to the Affirmative Action
amendments to the "Law Against Discrimination", N.I.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq.
(B) Ths contract shall not become effective and special counsel shall provide no
services under ths contract until he or she has executed the following documents:
1. A supplemental Affrmative Action agreement pursuant to N .I.S.A. 10:5-21
et seq.
2. An Affimative Acton Employee Inormation Report (form AA-302) (for
contracts which exceeds $9,200).
