The names of the second set either correspond to or were borrowed directly<br />

from the Arabic versions of the ancient Semitic month names that were adjusted<br />

to fit the Julian calendar months of the Roman Empire. May and July<br />

have fallen out of use in this set. The names are given <strong>with</strong> their Arabic<br />
