time, reflected in all gender <strong>an</strong>d age groups in Table 7.7. A third of adult males were<br />

employed in agriculture, while for females <strong>an</strong>d younger males the tertiary sec<strong>to</strong>r was <strong>an</strong><br />

import<strong>an</strong>t source of employment, although not <strong>to</strong> the extent of other zones. 24<br />
