Marquesses of Hertford from 1670. The separate m<strong>an</strong>or of Bin<strong>to</strong>n Gr<strong>an</strong>ge was in the h<strong>an</strong>ds<br />

of the Kempson family until 1778 when it was sold <strong>to</strong> Lord Beauchamp. Enclosed with<br />

the hamlet of Dray<strong>to</strong>n in Old Stratford parish by <strong>an</strong> act of 1779. The soil is clay on lower<br />

lias limes<strong>to</strong>ne.<br />

Dorms<strong>to</strong>n - a small parish of 828 acres; Pershore de<strong>an</strong>ery, Worcester diocese; upper<br />

division of Pershore Hundred, Worcestershire; Pershore Union. Alcester (post) 7, Pershore<br />

8, Worcester 10, Evesham 10. The m<strong>an</strong>or of Dorms<strong>to</strong>n was held by several families<br />

including Russell, Lutwyche, Timbrill, Keeling <strong>an</strong>d Homer. Enclosure 1791. The soil is<br />

stiff clay <strong>an</strong>d subsoil lower lias.<br />
