4.7.24.1 Function
This primitive is used to notify the Management layer that a different MID has been detected.
4.7.24.2 Semantics of the service primitive
MAC-MNT-NEWMID.ind (new_mid):
- new_mid: new MID detected
4.7.24.3 When generated
This primitive is generated by the MAC layer entity when it detects in the channel a MID different than the own
MID.
4.7.24.4 Effect of receipt
The Management layer entity uses this information to perform the coordination among different BPL Cells.
4.7.25 MAC-MNT-LINK-STATUS.req
4.7.25.1 Function
This primitive requests to the MAC layer the link status of the communication with certain MAC.
4.7.25.2 Semantics of the service primitive
MAC-MNT-LINK-STATUS.req (MAC):
• MAC: MAC address
4.7.25.3 When generated
The primitive is generated when the Management layer needs to know the status of certain link.
