4.7.24.1 Function<br />

This primitive is used to notify the Management layer that a different MID has been detected.<br />

4.7.24.2 Semantics of the service primitive<br />

<strong>MAC</strong>-MNT-NEWMID.ind (new_mid):<br />

- new_mid: new MID detected<br />

4.7.24.3 When generated<br />

This primitive is generated by the <strong>MAC</strong> layer entity when it detects in the channel a MID different than the own<br />

MID.<br />

4.7.24.4 Effect of receipt<br />

The Management layer entity uses this information to perform the coordination among different BPL Cells.<br />

4.7.25 <strong>MAC</strong>-MNT-LINK-STATUS.req<br />

4.7.25.1 Function<br />

This primitive requests to the <strong>MAC</strong> layer the link status of the communication with certain <strong>MAC</strong>.<br />

<strong>MAC</strong>-MNT-LINK-STATUS.req (<strong>MAC</strong>):<br />
