The Maganement layer gets the transmission gain.
3.15.15 PHY-MNT-TXGAIN-SET.req
3.15.15.1 Function
This primitive request the change of the transmission gain used to transmit to a remote node.
3.15.15.2 Semantics of the service primitive
PHY-MNT-TXGAIN-SET.req (port, gain):
• port: local transmission port
• gain: transmission gain level
3.15.15.3 When generated
This primitive must be generated when the Management layer wants to change the transmission gain with a given
node.
3.15.15.4 Effect of receipt
The Physical layer updates the transmission gain with the indicated port. It shall confirm the action.
3.15.16 PHY-MNT-TXGAIN-SET.cnf
3.15.16.1 Function
This primitive acknowledges the previously requested action.
3.15.16.2 Semantics of the service primitive
PHY-MNT-TXGAIN-SET.cnf (port):
• Port: local transmission port.
3.15.16.3 When generated
This primitive is generated by the Physical layer when it updates the transmission gain.
