SNMP: no
Mandatory: yes
Configures the firmware type of the node. The following firmware types can be configured: MV (Medium
Voltage), LV (Low Voltage) and EU (End User). This parameter affects the QoS and VLAN/OVLAN
configuration. The default value is LV.
• GENERAL_SIGNAL_MODE = [1 … m]
Parameter: Configures the physical mode used by the modem. This value can reach from 1 to m, depending on the
range of frequency used.
SNMP: plBasicMode
Mandatory: yes
Configures the physical mode used by the modem. The valid modes depend on the range of frequency used.
• GENERAL_SIGNAL_MODE_LIST.i = [1 … m]
Parameter: This value can reach from 1 to m, depending on the range of frequency used.
SNMP: plBasicSearchModes
Mandatory: yes
Configures i-mode of the mode list for the modem to search with the SearchLink protocol (i = 1 … 12). The
valid modes depend on the range of frequency used. The mode list is scanned to select the range of frequencies
that will be taken into account by the modem.
GENERAL_AUTHENTICATION = [RADIUS | AUTHLIST | NONE]
Parameter: There are three possible values: RADIUS, ATHLIST and NONE. If RADIUS is selected, a RADIUS
server will be in charge of accepting new users and assigning the profile. If AUTHLIST is selected, authentication
will be done by checking a list provided in the auto-configuration file. If NONE is selected, all the users will be
accepted
