o Mandatory: yes
It configures the minimum latency step for the different slaves when using QoS.
• QOS_BW_POLICY = [0 | 1]
o Parameter: A value of 0 corresponds to Fair mode, and 1 to Priority-based mode.
o SNMP: no
o Mandatory: yes
Selects the policy in which the QoS manages the excess of bandwidth: Fair or Priority-based mode.
• QOS_LATENCY.prio+1 = [1 | 2 | 4 | 8]
o Parameter: Priority levels: prio = 0 … 7. Possible values are: 1, 2, 4 and 8.
o SNMP: no
o Mandatory: yes
This list configures the latency for each priority level in QOS_LATENCY_STEP units (priority levels: prio
= 0 … 7).
11.6 PROFILES PARAMETERS
A profile is set of configurable parameters that are saved as a whole. A number is assigned to each profile, and
when a modem is assigned one profile, it will use all the parameters that are saved in this profile.
To define a profile all parameters must be set up, even if not working with VLANs. In this case, the values are
not used and can be 1 for instance.
• PROFILE_MAX_TXPUT_TX.i = N (in kbps)
o Parameter: Number (32 bits size) of kbps
o SNMP: no
o Mandatory: yes
Maximum transmission throughput (from the slave point of view: upstream) for users with profile i. A
modem that uses the profile ‘i’ will have a transmission throughput limited to this value.
