It must be stated that, in each of the submessages, the MSG_TYPE field shall be deprecated <strong>and</strong> substituted by the<br />

new MSG_TYPE content at the beginning of the resulting message.<br />

Node Capability Table<br />

The Node Capability Table shall be resident in each node <strong>and</strong> contains, indexed by <strong>MAC</strong> address, the maximum<br />

<strong>and</strong> running capabilities of each of the known nodes.<br />

Each node shall contain a NCT per known node in the network, indexed by <strong>MAC</strong> address. This table shall contain<br />

four different sections each one with specific fields:<br />

Common capabilities section<br />

Chip section<br />

Reference design<br />
