This list configures the cost associated with each port (PortPathCost in IEEE 802.1d) (i = 1 … 3). The
default values, depending on the port type, are the following:
o 2000000: Ethernet interface A (EXTA)
o 2000000: Ethernet interface B (EXTB)
o 4000000: BPL ports
• STP_HELLO_TIME = [10 … 40]
o Parameter: Valid values range from 10 to 40.
o SNMP: no
o Mandatory: no
Hello time expressed in decisecs (HelloTime in IEEE 802.1d). The default value is 20 decisecs.
• STP_MAX_AGE = [10 … 40]
o Parameter: Valid values range from 10 to 40.
o SNMP: no
o Mandatory: no
Maximum age time expressed in decisecs (MaxAge in IEEE 802.1d). The default value is 200 decisecs.
• STP_FORWARD_DELAY = [40 … 300]
o Parameter: Valid values range from 40 to 300.
o SNMP: no
o Mandatory: no
Forward delay time expressed in decisecs (forwardDelay in IEEE 802.1d). The default value is 150
decisecs.
• STP_FRONTIER = [EXTA | EXTB | NONE]
o Parameter: Valid values are: EXTA (Ethernet interface A), EXTB (Ethernet interface B) and
NONE (Spanning Tree Frontier disabled).
o SNMP: plStpFrontier
o Mandatory: no
