12.3.3 Auto-configuration parameter list
12.3.3.1 General Parameters
• GENERAL_USE_AUTOCONF = [YES | NO]
o Parameter: YES enables autoconf, NO disables it.
• GENERAL_TYPE = [HE | CPE | TDREPEATER]
o Parameter: Possible values are: HE (Head End), CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) and
TDREPEATER (Time Division Repeater).
• GENERAL_FW_TYPE = [MV | LV | EU]
o Parameter: Possible values are: MV (Medium Voltage), LV (Low Voltage) and EU (End User).
• GENERAL_SIGNAL_MODE = [1 … m]
o Parameter: Configures the physical mode used by the modem. This value can reach from 1 to m,
depending on the range of frequency used.
• GENERAL_SIGNAL_MODE_LIST.i = [1 … m]
o Parameter: This value can reach from 1 to m, depending on the range of frequency used.
• GENERAL_AUTHENTICATION = [RADIUS | AUTHLIST | NONE]
o Parameter: There are three possible values: RADIUS, ATHLIST and NONE. If RADIUS is
selected, a RADIUS server will be in charge of accepting new users and assigning the profile. If
AUTHLIST is selected, authentication will be done by checking a list provided in the autoconfiguration
file. If NONE is selected, all the users will be accepted
• GENERAL_STP = [YES | NO]
o Parameter: Enables (YES) or disables (NO) the Spanning Tree Protocol in the node. Enabled by
default.
• GENERAL_COMMON_STP_EXTA = [YES | NO]
o Parameter: Enables (YES) or disables (NO) the Common STP feature in the Ethernet interface A
(EXTA).
• GENERAL_COMMON_STP_EXTB = [YES | NO]
o Parameter: Enables (YES) or disables (NO) the Common STP feature in the Ethernet interface B
(EXTB).
• GENERAL_IP_ADDRESS =
o Parameter: The valid format is the dotted decimal notation (four decimal numbers separated by
dots).
