In this dialog Supplicant and Master exchange two Nonces that allow to derive the PTK; Supplicant and
Authenticator prove knowledge of the PMK to the other one and both synchronize to turn on the encryption keys for
unicast packets. Message 3 may also be used to send the GTK (Group Transient Key).By this way the Supplicant
and the Authenticator have established a secure channel using encryption in both directions.
11 SYSTEM PARAMETERS
11.1 GENERAL PARAMETERS
• GENERAL_USE_AUTOCONF = [YES | NO]
Parameter: YES enables autoconf, NO disables it.
SNMP: no
Mandatory: yes
This should be the first parameter in the auto-configuration file. If this parameter is disabled, when downloading
the file, all the parameters will be stored in non-volatile memory, and next boot-up will be in local settings boot
mode. In case of enabled, except a few parameters that must be necessarily saved in non-volatile memory, the
others will not be stored in the non-volatile memory, and next boot-up will be in Auto-configuration mode. By
default, it is enabled.
• GENERAL_TYPE = [HE | CPE | TDREPEATER]
Parameter: Possible values are: HE (Head End), CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) and TDREPEATER (Time
Division Repeater).
SNMP: plSysNodeType
Mandatory: yes
Configures the type of node. A node can be configured as a HE (Head End), a CPE (Customer Premises
Equipment) or a TDREPEATER (Time Division Repeater). The default value is CPE.
• GENERAL_FW_TYPE = [MV | LV | EU]
Parameter: Possible values are: MV (Medium Voltage), LV (Low Voltage) and EU (End User).
