All MPDUs follow the sequence described above except for the Channel Estimation Frame: this frame does not
contain neither bursts nor token. It starts with a Token Announce delimiter followed by a sequence of channel
estimation symbols.
4.3.1 Distributor Frame
This frame ends with a Distributor Token. This Token assigns the channel to a list of nodes (distribution list)
indicating the transmission order of the nodes, the session allowed to transmit and the channel time assigned to
each of them.
Nodes included in the distributor list shall transmit in the indicated order. First node on the distribution list
starts transmitting using the session (see 8.1) and for the maximum time indicated in the Distributor Token.
When it ends transmitting, it assigns the channel to the subsequent node on the distribution list using the Data
Token.
When second node on the distribution list receives a Data Token from the first node, it starts transmitting from
the session and for the maximum time indicated in the Distributor Token. When this node ends transmitting, it
assigns the channel to the third node on the distribution list. This process is repeated until the last node on the
distribution list returns the channel to the Master node. At this point, the master will be able to transmit a new
frame of the desired type.
Master node can configure the distribution list with a maximum number of five nodes.
The holder token node can assign the channel to the desired nodes during its assigned channel time. In this way,
a repeater node can transmit another Distributor token to its slave nodes or it can assign the channel to a CPE.
Following time diagram shows the described process in a scenario with four nodes (see Figure 23).
