Parameter: The valid format is the dotted decimal notation (four decimal numbers separated by dots).<br />

M<strong>and</strong>atory: no<br />

Configures the default gateway IP address to be used when booting up with DHCP disabled.<br />

• GENERAL_IP_USE_DHCP = [YES | NO]<br />

Parameter: If Yes DHCP is used, if NO DHCP is not used.<br />

SNMP: plSysUseDHCP<br />

M<strong>and</strong>atory: no<br />

Enables or disables the DHCP protocol in the modem. If DHCP is enabled, network configuration parameters<br />

(IP address, network mask <strong>and</strong> default gateway IP address) will be obtained from a DHCP server when booting<br />

up. If it is disabled, the network configuration parameters saved in the non-volatile memory will be used<br />

instead.<br />

11.2 AGC (AUTOMATIC GAIN CONTROL) PARAMETERS<br />

The following parameters must be h<strong>and</strong>led with special care. A bad configuration of them can produce lost of<br />

communication with the modem through BPL.<br />

• AGC_TX_GAIN = [0 | 1]<br />

o Parameter: Selecting 1, the default value, 12 dB are added to the reference gain. In case of 0 value,<br />

no extra gain is added (0 dB).<br />

o SNMP: plBasicTXAGCGain<br />

o M<strong>and</strong>atory: no<br />

It configures the transmission gain. Two gain values, 0 <strong>and</strong> 12 dB, can be added to the reference gain. By default,<br />

12 dB are selected.<br />

• AGC_RX_ENABLE = [0 | 1]<br />
