This primitive requests a transfer of a Convergence layer PDU from a local Convergence layer entity.
5.5.2.2 Semantics of the service primitive
LLC-DATA.req (CPDU):
- CPDU: Convergence layer Protocol Data Unit
5.5.2.3 When generated
This primitive is generated by the Convergence layer entity when a CPDU is to be transferred.
5.5.2.4 Effect of receipt
The LLC layer entity starts the sending of the CPDU.
5.5.3 LLC-DATA.cnf
5.5.3.1 Function
This primitive has local significance and provides the Convergence layer with status information (sending finished)
of the corresponding preceeding LLC-DATA.req primitive.
5.5.3.2 Semantics of the service primitive
This primitive has no parameters.
