Configures the 2-byte field which, added to the MAC address, is used by the STP standard to decide the
root path (Bridge Identifier Priority, part of BridgeIdentifier, in IEEE 802.1d). The default values,
depending on the node features, are the following (in hexadecimal):
o 0x9010: MV MASTER
o 0x9010: MV MASTER
o 0x9020: MV TDREPEATER
o 0x9030: LV MASTER
o 0x9040: LV TDREPEATER
o 0x9050: LV CPE
• STP_PORT.i = [EXTA | EXTB | BPL]
o Parameter: Three possible values: EXTA, EXTB and BPL (i = 1,2 or 3).
o SNMP: no
o Mandatory: no
This list configures the type of port to be used in association with STP_PORT_PRIO.i and
STP_PORT_COST.i parameters. (i = 1 … 3). All these parameters are lists, whose elements are associated
by the same i-index. Ethernet interfaces A and B, and the BPL ports can be selected. In case of BPL, all
ports will be handled as an aggregate, i.e. the priority and cost will be the same for all BPL ports.
• STP_PORT_PRIO.i = [0 … 255]
o Parameter: Valid values range from 0 to 255 (i = 1,2 or 3).
o SNMP: no
o Mandatory: no
This list configures the priority assigned to each port, needed if their costs are equal (i = 1 … 3). The default
value for all ports is 80.
• STP_PORT_COST.i = [0 … 4294967295]
o Parameter: Valid values range from 0 to 4294967295 (i = 1,2 or 3).
o SNMP: no
o Mandatory: no
