Configures the 2-byte field which, added to the <strong>MAC</strong> address, is used by the STP st<strong>and</strong>ard to decide the<br />

root path (Bridge Identifier Priority, part of BridgeIdentifier, in IEEE 802.1d). The default values,<br />

depending on the node features, are the following (in hexadecimal):<br />

o 0x9010: MV MASTER<br />

o 0x9010: MV MASTER<br />

o 0x9020: MV TDREPEATER<br />

o 0x9030: LV MASTER<br />

o 0x9040: LV TDREPEATER<br />

o 0x9050: LV CPE<br />

• STP_PORT.i = [EXTA | EXTB | BPL]<br />

o Parameter: Three possible values: EXTA, EXTB <strong>and</strong> BPL (i = 1,2 or 3).<br />

o SNMP: no<br />

o M<strong>and</strong>atory: no<br />

This list configures the type of port to be used in association with STP_PORT_PRIO.i <strong>and</strong><br />

STP_PORT_COST.i parameters. (i = 1 … 3). All these parameters are lists, whose elements are associated<br />

by the same i-index. Ethernet interfaces A <strong>and</strong> B, <strong>and</strong> the BPL ports can be selected. In case of BPL, all<br />

ports will be h<strong>and</strong>led as an aggregate, i.e. the priority <strong>and</strong> cost will be the same for all BPL ports.<br />

• STP_PORT_PRIO.i = [0 … 255]<br />

o Parameter: Valid values range from 0 to 255 (i = 1,2 or 3).<br />

o SNMP: no<br />

o M<strong>and</strong>atory: no<br />

This list configures the priority assigned to each port, needed if their costs are equal (i = 1 … 3). The default<br />

value for all ports is 80.<br />

• STP_PORT_COST.i = [0 … 4294967295]<br />

o Parameter: Valid values range from 0 to 4294967295 (i = 1,2 or 3).<br />

o SNMP: no<br />

o M<strong>and</strong>atory: no<br />
