The <strong>TI486</strong>SLC/E also enters suspend mode as a result of executing a HALT<br />

instruction. The SUSPA output is asserted no more than 17 CLK2s following<br />

a READY sampled active for the HALT bus cycle as shown in Figure 3-25.<br />

Suspend mode is then exited upon recognition of an NMI or an unmasked<br />

INTR. SUSPA is deactivated 12 CLK2s after sampling of an active NMI or<br />

unmasked INTR. If the <strong>TI486</strong>SLC/E is in a HALT initiated suspend mode and<br />

the CLK2 input is not stopped, the processor recognizes and acknowledges<br />

the HOLD input and stores the occurrence of FLUSH for execution once<br />

suspend mode is exited.<br />
