• The relationship between maternal and child health and child spac<strong>in</strong>g<br />

• Contraceptive methods<br />

Expla<strong>in</strong> that for practical work <strong>in</strong> class and <strong>in</strong> the community, participants will base the<br />

objectives, content and process <strong>of</strong> the educational session on their knowledge <strong>of</strong> common<br />

practices <strong>in</strong> the community. They will limit their sessions to 15-20 m<strong>in</strong>utes.<br />

Distribute the participant documents: Facilitat<strong>in</strong>g Group Discussion and Checklist for the<br />

Facilitation <strong>of</strong> Educational Sessions. Ask volunteers to read them. Discuss any po<strong>in</strong>ts<br />

that are not clear, and any questions participants may have. Expla<strong>in</strong> that these guidel<strong>in</strong>es<br />

may help participants <strong>in</strong> their preparation and presentations; and that the group will use<br />

the Checklist to give the presenter feedback follow<strong>in</strong>g each presentation.<br />
