SESSION 1: INTRODUCTION<br />

OBJECTIVES: By the end <strong>of</strong> the session, participants should be able to:<br />

1. Give the names the tra<strong>in</strong>er and other participants wish to be called dur<strong>in</strong>g the<br />

workshop<br />

2. Describe their learn<strong>in</strong>g expectations for this workshop<br />

3. Reconcile their workshop expectations with the objectives proposed for the<br />

tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g program<br />

4. Name at least four group norms the group will respect <strong>in</strong> order to facilitate a<br />

productive workshop<br />

5. Assess their knowledge <strong>of</strong> reproductive health<br />

Welcome participants to the workshop.<br />

Introduce the tra<strong>in</strong>ers.<br />

Suggest that participants likely already know each other s<strong>in</strong>ce they have been together <strong>in</strong><br />

the previous workshop(s). However, the tra<strong>in</strong>ers would like to be sure that everybody<br />
